KBD is to empower immigrant children and adults through comprehensive education and support, bridging the divide in opportunities and resources, and fostering their successful integration into society. We address the goals and specific needs of immigrant children and adults by providing them with the necessary tools, skills, and support to overcome educational and societal barriers. It emphasizes the importance of equal access to education and resources, as well as the promotion of successful integration into their new communities.
KBD is dedicated to supporting the training on high-quality computer classes specifically designed for immigrant children and adults, regardless of their socio-economic background or language proficiency. Through our innovative curriculum, supportive learning environment, and culturally sensitive approach, we aim to equip participants with essential digital skills, foster confidence, and promote cross-cultural understanding.
Khaleid bridging the Divide Foundation will support local computer classes to immigrant children and adult in Maine and Democratic Republic of the Congo, Minembwe Area devasted by war and ethnic killings where children have no access to any computer technologies.
The foundation aims to foster a sense of belonging, encourage cross-cultural understanding, and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth, ultimately bridging the divide and creating a more harmonious society.
